Careers Business Lunch Part 2

TEMA Careers hosted their second careers business lunch in school, hosted by Savills, with fifteen Year 9 and 10 students specially selected to take part.

Year 10 College Taster Days

Year 10 students were given the opportunity to take part in college taster days at Connell Coop College, The Manchester College, Clarendon Sixth Form College and Tameside College.

TEMA Careers ran their first Business lunch in school, which was hosted by AECOM. Twelve Year 10 students were specially invited to take part in the inaugural event.

As part of the school's commitment to open students’ eyes to the wide range of job roles available to them both locally and nationally, Year 9 students were given the opportunity to take part in a careers speed networking event at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford.

Year 9 students were given a fantastic opportunity to take part in a 'Beauty and the Business' careers event, which focused on the running of your own business in the beauty industry.

Year 7 ‘Gateways’ at the University of Manchester

As part of the school's commitment to raise aspirations and promote higher education as an option, Year 7 students were given the opportunity to take part in their first ‘Gateways’ day at the University of Manchester.

Legal Careers Talk

As part of the school's commitment to raise aspirations and promote a wide range of career pathways, Year 9 and 10 students were given the opportunity to hear from a practising corporate solicitor.

Work Experience Week 2019

This year, Work Experience Week ran from 25-29 March 2019 and we encourage and support Year 10 students to take part in this invaluable experience.

As part of the school's commitment to raise aspirations and promote a wide range of career pathways, Year 9 students were given the opportunity to take part in an 'Insight into Law' day at the University of Manchester.

Teen Tech Event

As part of the school's commitment to promote STEM career pathways and to challenge gender stereotyping in careers, Year 9 students were given the opportunity to take part in the Teen Tech Manchester event.
