The event took place on Thursday 11th July 2019 and it provided students with an opportunity to discover new and exciting careers that may not have previously entered their thoughts.
TEMA students demonstrated lots of confidence, talking to a variety of people from different tech careers and took away a lot of information about the opportunities available. One of our students won the prize for ‘future technologist of the year’!
Ms O’Donnell, Careers and Employability Lead, said:
We want our female students to know that these careers are open to them and the careers speed networking with a range of professionals opened their eyes to the possibilities out there.
I am now thinking about creative careers such as fashion design.
Deborah, Year 8
