To open the day, our ‘TEMA Tigers’ performed an impressive cheer routine packed with flicks and impressive stunts. There were over forty students involved in the opening ceremony, who attended an after school club to ensure that the routines were performed to perfection.
The opening ceremony featured our ‘TEMA Samba Band’ as well, representing students from every year group across the academy. We also welcomed our ‘TEMA Tiger’ mascot, who appeared throughout the day to entertain the crowd.
Sports Day at Sport City Athletics Stadium was a fantastic showcase of athleticism and school spirit, with all students demonstrating our core REACH values. It was a thrilling event, and in a close competition, Gaskell House clinched the cup for the second consecutive year. There was also an incredible performance by our cheerleading squad, The TEMA Tigers and TEMA drummers during the opening ceremony. Well done to everyone involved!
