Manchester Metropolitan University – Raising Attainment With Resilience Programme

We are writing to you to inform you about a project your child could potentially take part in and benefit from. Please read the following information which explains the nature of the project and why it is being carried out.

The project is being ran in school by Manchester Metropolitan University, and was designed by Nottingham Trent University (NTU). It consists of several classroom-based resilience sessions and the completion of up to two questionnaires and (possibly) a focus group. The questionnaires and focus group will help us to understand the impact of the classroom sessions. Whether or not selection for the scheme takes place is determined by suitability and random allocation, as explained in the following pages.

If you are happy for your child to take part, you don’t need to do anything. You can read further information, and later choose to opt your child out of this project if you wish, by following the link below. We ask that you do this by Friday 17th January 2025.
