As part of our commitment to promoting aspirational pathways for students, our Year 10 students had the exciting opportunity to visit the University of Manchester for a campus tour and orientation event, in partnership with GM Higher.
Recently, Year 8 students had the opportunity to visit Shree Ram Mandir, a vibrant Hindu temple located in Ashton under Lyne. This enrichment trip formed part of their Religious Education studies, supporting their curriculum focus on Hindu beliefs, practices, and places of worship.

On Friday 6th February 2026, students in Years 10 and 11 were treated to a powerful live performance of Macbeth, one of their GCSE English Literature set texts.
This week, our students took part in National Storytelling Week, celebrating the joy of stories through this year’s theme - 'Soundtrack Your Story'.
Five of our Year 7 students proudly took part in the Manchester Healthy Schools Voice Box event.
On Wednesday 21st January 2026, we hosted an Inclusion Evening to celebrate the achievements of our students with special educational needs and those with English as an additional language, while also sharing information about the inclusive provision available at TEMA.
