Winter Trips with the Manchester United Foundation ( Published: 16/12/2024)

As part of our affiliation with the Manchester United Foundation during the run up to Christmas, students have taken part in numerous winter trips and opportunities.

A few recent highlights:

Year 7 students were treated with a visit to the Chill Factore at Trafford City, where they learned how to ski and race down the ski slopes.

Korede has been selected as a ball assistant for the 2024/25 season. He will be responsible for both first team games at Old Trafford and the U21’s team at Leigh Sports Village. Korede is a passionate footballer with a strong knowledge of the game and an excellent student. He is thrilled to have been selected for this opportunity.

Year 7’s took part in various team building activities with the Army. On the day, students worked in groups to participate in various games and races. The aim of the activities was to encourage leadership, develop an understanding of when to listen, and how to communicate effectively to solve problems.

Today has been an amazing opportunity for our year 7 students to work together, build on their confidence and feel part of their TEMA cohort. The students loved it and really enjoyed giving it 100%.
