TEMA Attendance Clinic (March 2025) ( Published: 04/04/2025)

The ‘TEMA Attendance Clinic’ is an informal and welcoming event for parents/carers and families of students at TEMA to discuss the vital role of regular school attendance in student success.

This was our second attendance clinic event and it provided an opportunity for parents/carers to meet with the TEMA Attendance Team, Early Help and Safeguarding Team to review current attendance trends, address any challenges, and explore effective strategies to enhance student attendance and engagement.

Parents/carers and families were informed about school attendance policies, and how they can support their child’s consistent school attendance. The session highlighted available resources to help families overcome any barriers they may face.

The Clinic encouraged open conversation, questions, and fostered a sense of community where families can connect with one another.

Our recent attendance clinic was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible collaboration between our dedicated teams and supportive parents and carers. Together, we created a positive and engaging environment that emphasised the importance of regular attendance for our students’ success. This united effort showcased the power of teamwork and community in achieving our shared goals.
