Year 9 Gateways Visit to The University of Manchester ( Published: 05/03/2025)
As part of TEMA’s commitment to promoting ambition and aspirational pathways for students, a group of our Year 9 students visited The University of Manchester.
Year 9 students had the opportunity to gain an insight into what it would be like to become and student at a university, as well as learning how to budget and what type of leaner they are. They spoke to various Student Ambassadors and learned about their experiences of university and what their journey there looked like.
It’s really shown me what university life is like and the real-life costs it comes with. It’s made me feel like it is a good opportunity for me in the future.
