Careers Visit to Howmet Aerospace ( Published: 13/10/2022)
As part of the school’s commitment to showcase STEM careers, students were given the opportunity to take part in numerous technology activities at Howmet Aerospace in Glossop.
Year 11 business and technology students spent the day at Howmet Aerospace, Glossop, learning about the different career opportunities available in the industry. Students were given a tour of the production site and met a range of people within the business, who talked about their roles and the different career paths within the organisation.
It was great to finally welcome The East Manchester Academy students on site after visiting the academy and meeting students during their careers week. Students were engaged throughout and asked a range of insightful questions about the different post 16 pathways available. We look forward to welcoming more students from the academy in the future.
